In the next few years at Iowa State University I hope to find a mentor that can help me succeed in my near future. If I were to find a mentor that can be apart of my success in my career job plan. The staff and faculty here will aid me in many different ways. They have the ability to help me network through other agronomy professors to help get my name out. They can show me the different experiences that other professors may not be able to. I would hope that they would get me involved in what ever possible so I am ready for the real world.
My mentor will help me meet possible job oppurtunities by teaching me how to use various job application methods. They can also help me apply for various internships and experiences that will aid in my knowledge growth. The mentor that I find can give me ideas for what I need to do so that I can be able to perform the different activities necessary for me to succeed in my major choice.
In my area interest I have already found many possible mentors that can aid in my success here at Iowa State. In the agronomy department they make it very easy for you to find the one person or professor that is right for you that will make you work to the best of your abilities.
